Style to Envy – Weekend Recap

Hola chicas and happy Monday!  Our weekend schedule was packed with fun events so we decided to share a little recap with you all today.

We attended the Fall preview of CrOp by David Peck at the newly opened studio.  David is one of our favorite Houston designers so any chance we can attend an event we make sure to be there.  Of course the collection did not disappoint and we loved it – from his signature prints to the menswear influence his Fall collection is amazing.  Complete pictures of the collection can be found on our Facebook Page

The Fall collection was inspired by some of great classic movies of the 1950′s and 1960′s A Gentlemen’s Agreement, To Kill a Mockingbird and Roman Holiday all featuring the legendary Gregory Peck.

Our next stop of the day was the All Star Gifting Suite; where spikes and bejeweled items were plenty for the select guests. Some of our personal favorites were the chunky chains, ball caps and this skull ring we both died over….need to add this to the collection ASAP.

We spotted a few fashion forward ladies in the crowd so of course we had to get capture their looks. And remember you can’t go wrong in black it’s so fitting for all styles – from girly on the left to the tomboy chic recording artist D. Woods to the super edgy style on the right.

Our last stop of the night was a PF Flyers pop up shop at The Classroom and it was the place to be.  This hipster approved event was complete with great sales, cocktails flowing and ended with a DJ set by Yasiin Bey also known as Mos Def. With The Classroom being one the finest men’s boutiques in Houston we spotted a few fashionable guests.

Guys got style too from layers with vests, statement shoes and street wear to a sharp dressed man in a suit.  And of course ladies embracing menswear inspired looks for a little street style in Houston.
