Happy Thursday Fashionistas! Just in time for Valentine’s Day! We have a special treat for Today’s Thursday Tip, which we hope you guys like and support. Being fashionable is GREAT but being fashionable for a GREAT cause is even better. Valerie was picked for a Style Wars courtesy of Houston Fashion Bloggers, Macy’s Go Red for Women and the American Heart Association to help spread the word on building healthy lifestyles that are cardiovascular disease and stroke free. It is a proven fact that heart disease is the #1 killer of 1 out of 3 women a year. That could be any of us, so why not support a great cause in fashion by wearing your Red for Women.
There were two parts to this Style Wars: The Challenge and The Styling, which in true Style to Envy fashion we had to showcase how to work your wardrobe by wearing your dress in more ways than one.
The Challenge:

The Dress:

Tomboy Chic Look:
Dress as a Shirt – Macy’s
Skirt – H&M
Tights – Kate Spade
Tie – Hubby’s Closet
Boots – Shoe Dazzle

Girl’s Night Out Look:
Dress as a Shirt – Macy’s
Blazer – Goodwill
Leggings – Target
Shoes – Gifted
Clutch – Aldo Shoes

Casual Dressy Look:
Dress – Macy’s
Shoes – Zara
Blazer – Wish
Bag – Francesca’s Collection

Get involved in this great cause by taking the American Heart Association ‘s Go Red for Women Challenge all through the Month of February by painting wherever you are RED and sharing your photos on their Website or Facebook Page to help women fight against heart diseases.
Help Valerie of Style to Envy win Style Wars by voting for her look on HFB’s Facebook Page until February 9th. (Click Here)

Such a great ’cause. I love that what Macy’s is doing to promote it! I have to say it’s a really fabulous dress too.

How are you getting the dress not to bulge as a shirt through pants and skirt?

Macy’s is known for its niche in popular culture and the diversity of its merchandise. It competes with Belk, Bon-Ton, and Dillard’s; more upscale facilities compete with Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Lord & Taylor, and Saks Fifth Avenue. It has produced the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City since 1924, and sponsored the City’s annual Fourth of July fireworks display since 1976. Macy’s flagship was, and is still being advertised as, the largest in the world, and draws shoppers from well beyond the New York City Metropolitan Area.**^.
All the best
