Happy Tuesday Fashionistas…I’m the only one that thinks Tuesday is the only day that doesn’t get any love. Random thought I know but so true and now onto my look of the day. I wore this to a fashion show back in November it was chilly hence the tights, I didn’t want to wear heels hence the wedge sneakers and decided to put a body con dress over a shirt cause why the heck not. The look is bright fun and even with a body con dress completely covered edgy and tomboy diva approved. Best part is all items have been in my closet for months and just by putting the dress over the shirt makes a new fresh look and I was comfortable all night too.

What I’m wearing:
Dress - Forever 21 (similar under $10)
Shirt – Forever21 (similar)
Shoes – JustFab (similar)
Clutch – H&M, Necklace – Old (similar), Earrings – Langford Market

I’m starting to realize I have a slight obsession with neon yellow
What do you think of my look? Have you worn a dress over a shirt….give it a try sometime.
With style,

I love that clutch paired with yellow!

I love black, white and yellow as a color palette! I am also loving the wedge trend it just really make everything SO much more comfortable. In a walking city like NYC, I am so grateful for that! Your outfit looks great!

I love the way you’ve taken a sexy ‘going out’ dress and made it fun and appropriate for day! So cute!

Multiple uses for your clothing is key, they can serve many purposes.
Great dress this whole look is so cool. Love the way you have used the lemon against the black and white. Thanks for being a wardrobe Weds player this week.

Thanks Miriam…just found your link up and will be sure to join more often!
I love how the design of that shirt just pops when paired with the yellow dress. I have been layering shirts under my dresses for a while, mainly for warmth. However, I think when done correctly, it can really do wonders for the outfit.

Thanks Leelee it’s a great way to transition summer dresses so you can wear them in the cooler months!
I’d never think to put a dress over a shirt!
